The FrigorTec ice machines produce ice slurry, a water or brine-ice mixture that can be pumped. The benefits lie in the fact that the ice crystals carry and can store a high melting energy. Depending on the application ice slurry offers further benefits:

• When ice slurry is employed in foodstuff production great temperature differences are avoided, thus gently cooling the foods.
• Peak loads during refrigeration are avoided, because the creation of the energy is distributed over a longer period and the energy can be stored.
