Data protection rules for the use of Google Analytics (with anonymisation function)

The controller has integrated the Google Analytics component (with an anonymisation function) on this website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Web analytics is the collection, aggregation, and storage of data on the behaviour of website visitors. A web analytics service collects data, for example, from which website a data subject has come to a website (known as referrers), which subpages of the website were accessed, and for how long a subpage was viewed. Web analytics are used mainly for optimising a website and for the cost-benefit analysis of online advertising.

The Google Analytics component is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

The controller uses the extension “__gat._anonymizeIp” for web analytics using Google Analytics. This extension causes Google to abridge and anonymise the IP address of the data subject from a member state of the European Union, or from another country that is party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyse the visitor flows on our website. Google uses the collected data and information to evaluate the use of our website in order to create online reports that show the activities on our website and or provide other services related to the use of our website.

Google Analytics places a cookie on the IT system of the data subject. Cookies have been explained above. Placing the cookie enables Google to analyse the use of our website. When accessing a single page of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which the Google Analytics component has been integrated, the Google Analytics component causes the internet browser on the data subject's IT system to transfer data to Google for purposes of online analysis. As part of this technological process, Google receives information about personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which is used by Google to track the origin of visitors and clicks and enable commission calculations, among other things.

Personal data, such as the time of access, the location from where the access was made, and the frequency of visits to our website by the data subject, are stored by means of the cookie. At each visit to our websites, this personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may disclose personal data collected through this technological process to third parties.

As mentioned above, a data subject is able to prevent the placement of cookies by our website at any time by means of a setting in their internet browser and thereby object to the placement of cookies permanently. Such a setting on the internet browser would also prevent Google from placing a cookie on the IT system of the data subject. Furthermore, a cookie that has already been placed by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time by means of an internet browser or other software.

In addition, the data subject has the option of objecting to the collection of personal data related to the use of this website and collected by Google Analytics and thereby prevent it. To do so, the data subject needs to download and install a browser add-on from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This browser add-on tells Google Analytics via JavaScrip that no data or information about visits to websites may be transmitted to Google Analytics. Google interprets the installation of the browser add-on as an objection. If the IT system of the data subject is deleted, formatted, or reinstalled at a later date, then the data subject much reinstall the browser add-on in order to deactivate Google Analytics. If the browser add-on has been uninstalled or deactivated by the data subject or a person within the data subject's sphere of influence, then it can be reinstalled or reactivated.

You may also prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This places an opt-out cookie that prevents the collection of your data during future visits to this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.

More information and the applicable privacy policy by Google is available at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail here: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.

Data protection rules for the use of YouTube

The controller has integrated components by YouTube on this website. YouTube is an internet video portal that enables video publishers the publishing of video clips free of charge, and other users to view, rate, and comment these videos, also free of charge. YouTube allows the publication of all kinds of videos, which is why both complete films and TV shows, but also music videos, trailers, and videos produced by the users themselves are available on the portal.

YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

With each access to an individual page of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the internet browser on the data subject's IT system is caused automatically by the relevant YouTube component to download a representation of the relevant YouTube component from YouTube. More information about YouTube is available at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. As part of this technological process, YouTube and Google receive information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged on to YouTube at the same time, then YouTube detects which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject with each access to a subpage. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and attributed to the data subject's YouTube account.

If the data subject is logged on to YouTube while accessing our website, then YouTube and Google receive information about the each of the data subject's visit to our website; this occurs independently of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If a data subject does not wish this information transmitted to YouTube and Google, then the data subject may prevent this by logging out from their YouTube account before accessing our website.

The privacy policy published by YouTube at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ provides information about the collection, processing, and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

Data protection rules for the use of Vimeo

Our website uses plugins of the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

If you visit a page with a Vimeo plugin, then a connection to the servers of Vimeo is made. This involves submitting information to the Vimeo server about which pages you visited. Your IP address is also transmitted. This also applies if you are not logged on to Vimeo or if you do not have a Vimeo account. The information collected by Vimeo is processed on Vimeo's servers in the US.

If you are logged on to your Vimeo account, then you are allowing Vimeo to attribute your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You may prevent this by logging off your Vimeo account.

We use the Vimeo video platform because it is the optimal and, for you as the user, technologically simplest way of providing videos. This is a legitimate interest in the sense of point (f) of GDPR Article 6(1).

For more information about data protection at Vimeo, please visit: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Data protection rules for the use of Google Web Fonts

This website uses web fonts provided by Google for the unified representation of fonts. When accessing a page, your browser loads the web fonts needed to show text and fonts correctly.

The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To this end, the browser used by you needs to connect to the servers of Google. This provides Google with the information that our website was accessed from your IP address. We use Google Web Fonts in order to present our online offers in a unified and appealing manner. This constitutes a legitimate interest in the sense of point (f) of GDPR Article 6(1).

If your browser does not support web fonts, then your computer will use a standard font.

For more information about Google Web Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Data protection rules for the use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps map service via an API (programming interface). The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To enable the use of Google Maps functions, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. The operating company of this website has no further influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps occurs in the interest of presenting our online offers in an appealing manner and making the locations identified on our website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest in the sense of point (f) of GDPR Article 6(1).
